RESOLUTION ~0. 2V61 RESOLUTION SELLING AND DIRECTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY V~TEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has acquired from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, a deed to the hereinafter described property, and WHEREAS, the Grantee herein has agreed to cause the owner of the fee title to said hereinafter described property, prior to the sale of said property to the State of Californi~a, to convey to s'aid City by deed sufficient t o clear the record title to said property and place the title thereto in said City free of all encumbrauce~ of every nature, except rights of way, ~ase~e~ts, condltiens, restrictions and reservations of record, and WHEREAS, through mistake aud inadvertence the said hereinafter described property has heretofore been assessed for street improvement work with a disproporttona' amount of the cost of such assessment, a considerable amount of sai~ disproportionate assessment having been paid by the former owners of the record title t o said property, and WHEREAS, the said record owners have heretofore conveyed said property to the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, '1~ COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF SANTA ANA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: That it is the opinion and Judgement of the City Council that the consider- ations hereinafter referred to for the purchase of the real property hereinafter described is in all respects fair, just and adequate~ and that the best interests of said City will be served by the execution and delivery of a deed to said property from the City of Santa Aua, and that the said City of Santa Aha has no use for said real property so proposed to be sold hereunder, and that it is for the benefit of s aid City that said property be sold; NOW, THEREFORE~ the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha are hereby directed to execut~ and deliver t o AUDRY TH0~PSON a deed to that certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: That portion of Section Twelve (12), Township Eive (5) South, Range Ten (10) West, S.B.D. and M., in the City of Santa Aha, County of 0rsnge, State of California, described as follows: The North 105.74 feet o f the following described property: Beginning at a point in the Northwest corner of said Section 12; thence South along the West line of said Section 285.74 feet to a point in the North line o f the property conveyed by W. J. Lieser and wife t o C. H. Harris and wife by Deed recorded in Book 502, page 254 of Deeds, Records of Orange County, California; thence East along the .North line of the property so conveyed, 1V4.65~ feet; thence North parallel to the West line of said Section, 285.74 feet to a point in the North line of said Section; thence West, along said North line 174.675 feet to the point of beginning. upon receipt by the City of the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars as full considerat for the said deed.
