RESOLUTION NO. 59-~-~3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana purchased a lot for street right of way use for proposed Fairview Road Northerly of Harvard, a small portion of said lot lies outside of said proposed street and right of way, but is necessary for the Greenville-Banning Channel and is desired by the County of Orange; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana authorizes and directs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute a Quitclaim Deed to the Orange County Flood Control District quitclaiming the City's interest in t~at certain property described as: All that portion of Lot 18, Block I, Tract No. 507 in the City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 20, pages ll and 12, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, lying Westerly of the following described line: Beginning at the Sout~heast comer of Lot 3, Tract No. 1024, said point being on the center llne of Harvard Street at its intersection with the Southerly extension of the West line of said Lot 18; thence along said center line S. 89° 37' 50" E., 2.75 feet; thence N. 0° 21' 56" E., 73.56 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Easterly and having a radius of 767.00 feet; thence Northerly algng said curve 105.00 feet t~rough a central angle of 7v 50' 38" to a point on the Northerly line of said Lot 18~ a radial line throug~ said point bearing N. 81° 47' 26" W., and said point being distant S. 89° 47' 30" E. along said Northerly line 10.42 feet from the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 18, without the receipt of any cash consideration from said District because of the City's continuing interest in the welfare of, and its desire to assist, said District in every reasonable way.
