RESOLUTION NO. 59-321 DESIGNATING SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL" <br />BANK AS THE DEPOB T~ FOR CITY OF SANTA ANA FUNDS EFFEC- <br />TIVE JANUARY l, 1960, AND DESIGNATING SIGNATURES AUTHORIZED <br />FOR IHE PURPOSE 0P WITHDRAWAL OF SAID FUNDS <br /> <br /> · HEREAB, heretofore the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />has declared a policy of designating a bank in the City to handle <br />the demand deposits of City funds, and confor~aing to said expressed <br />policy now declares a new period to begin January 1, 1960; <br /> <br /> NOW, TH~HEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Security First <br />National Bank, located at Third and Main Streets in the City of <br />Santa Aha, California, is hereby designated as the banking institu- <br />tion to receive and hm dle deposits of Santa Aha City funds and <br />trust funds in the control of said City, beginning January 1, 1960, <br /> <br />and continuing for a texan of two years, <br />this body, or said banking institution. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That ~R. <br /> <br />unless sooner terminated by <br /> <br />HAL RAGER, the Director of <br /> <br />Finance of said City, is hereby authorized for and on behalf of said <br />City, and as its officer and agent, to sign City of Santa Aha checks <br />for the withdrawal of said funds so deposited, both by facsimile <br />signature machine-imprinted upon City checks, and by his manually <br />affixed signature. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That MR. W. K. MANN is hereby author- <br />ized for and on behalf of said City, and as a~ agent of said City, <br />to sign City of Santa Aha checks for the withdrawal of said funds <br />so deposited by his manually affixed signature. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Security First National <br />Bank is hereby authorized and directed to pay out from said City <br />funds to the payee designated on any City check, signed in the <br />manner and by persons hereinabove authorized, in the amount shown <br />on the face of said check. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLYED: That, because of physical absence, <br />incapacity, or death of said agents, it may be necessary on a tem- <br />porary basis to write emergency orders for the signing of City checks, <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized to designate in writing an <br /> <br /> <br />
