RESOLUTION NO. 60-1 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 1223 AND MODIFYING RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing, on notice, has recommended that a Variance be granted on Varianca Application 1223, filed by the Bank of America National Trust and Savings Associatio~on certain conditions, and the City Council after consideration, agrees that said Variance should be granted but finds t~at the recommended conditions should be modified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council ap- proves the recommendations of the Planning Commission and hereby grants a Variance to permit the use of Lot 5, Block C, of Warner's Subdivision of Blocks C and F of the Dresser Tract, as per map re- corded in Book 1, Page 97, of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County, California, known and numbered as 1612 Spurgeon Street to allow the erection of an office building and its use by a Social Service staff for interviewing and pro~ional counseling service, in an R-3 District,on the following conditions: 1. That no part of the building be constructed closer than 6 feet 6 inches from the street right of way. 2. That off-street parking be provided, as required by the City, and approved by the Planning Department. 3- That the front yard be reasonably landscaped, or cover- ed with concrete, and if the same be covered with concrete, then that planters be placed across the front of the building. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the circumstances justifying the granting of t~e Variance set forth in Resolution No. 5293 of the Planning Commission are hereby approved.
