RESOLUTION NO. 3142 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPER~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI~f COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which s aid property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California ]mder the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the D:rchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 3rd day of August, 1942, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcel to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for sa~d parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. The said property is described as follows: Lots 8 and 17, Block "C", Tract No. ~$2 Lots 2, 9 and 18, Block "L", Tract No. 25R Lots 2 and 4, Block "0", Tract No. 252 Lot l, Block "G", Tract No. ~84 East six feet of Lot 15 and the West 42 feet of Lot 18, Block "B", Fifth Street Tract All of the above property for the sum of ........ $1,0~5.00 North one-half of Lot ~l, Block "B", Tract No.284..150.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Co~cil its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, ATTEST: Erma Keeler of the City of Santa Ana, at 1942.
