That, in addition to the thirty-one censolidated voting precincts situated within <br />the corporate limits of the City of Santa Ana aforesaid, there shall be two special <br />election voting precincts comprising that portion of the Santa Ana High School District <br />lying outside of the corporate limits of the City of Santa Ana, for the purpose of <br />voting only on members of the Board of Education, five (5) in number, for the term of <br />four (4) years, for said Santa Ana High School Distrlctl said special consolidated <br />election precincts and the election boards for each such special consolidated election <br />precincts respectively, and the polling place thereof shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> Consolidated Voting Precinct No. 32 <br /> <br /> Comprising all that territory embraced within the Santa Ana High School <br /> District and lying outside of the City of Santa Ana, but included within <br /> the Greenville School District and the Di~ond School District of the <br /> County of Orange. <br /> <br /> The polling place shall be at the Diamond School Building, Santa Ana Gardens. <br /> <br /> Ins'pector Alfred Manderscheid R. 4, Box 286, Santa Ana <br /> Judge Thelma Picketing R. 4 Box 40, " <br /> Clerk Genevieve M. Paris R. 4, Box 295, " <br /> <br /> Each of said election officers shall receive as compensation the sum of $6.00 for <br />his or her services as a member of such election board. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: Said election shall be held aud conducted in accordance with the laws <br />regulating general municipal elections in cities of the fifth class, and with the <br />general election l&ws of the State of California, so far as the same may be applicable <br />thereto. The polls shall be opened at 6 A.M. on the day of said election, and shall <br />be kept open until 7 P.M. of said day, at which Nme the polls shall be closed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: Notice of said election, containing a statement of the time of said <br />election and o£ the names of the offices to be filled thereat, andbriefly, a general <br />description of the voting precincts and location of the polling places, and of the <br />time of the opening and closing of the polls, shall be given by the City Clerk, by c~e <br />~ublication in the SANTA ANA REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated in <br />said City of Santa Ana, not earlier than the sixtieth (60th) or later than the thirty- <br />first (31st) day before the date of said election. <br /> <br /> SECTION §: The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be published a list of the <br />names of the nomineem in alphabetical order, and the respective offices for which <br />they have been nominated, twice before the day of said election, in the SANTA ANA <br />REGISTER, a daily newspaper published in s aid City of Santa Ana in the form as required <br />by law. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be printed official ballots, <br />in the form and number as required by law, and shall procure all other supplies <br />necessary for the holding of said election as required by law, <br /> <br /> sEcTIoN 7: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of thiB Resolution, <br /> <br /> <br />
