, RESOLUTION NO. 5186 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real <br /> property hereinafter described, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of those certain lots and <br /> parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by <br /> the City of Santa Ana by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto <br /> and/or from the County Tax Collector of the ,County of Orange, State of California, <br /> under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made <br /> and provided, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa An~ has no use for said property or any thereof <br />for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property <br />should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again <br />be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAB, offers have been made for the purchase of said parcels by private <br />~ndividuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare <br />that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 1st <br />day of Narch, 1943, sell its right, title and interest in and to said p~operty at the <br />prices hereinafter set forth in~nediately following the description of said parcels to <br />the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at <br />said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or parcels at least <br />ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to <br />the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor mad City Clerk will there- <br />upon be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim deed to such property to the <br />said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. <br /> <br /> The said property is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lots 2 and 3, Block "A" ..................
