RESOLUTION 64-1 AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF <br />THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING A <br />VARIANCE ON VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1839 <br />FILED BY MARY ANN (GILLESPIE) SCANLON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator <br />granted a variance on Variance Application No. 1839 filed by <br />MARY ANN (GILT,ESPIE) SCANLON to permit the construction of a <br />20-unit, 2-story apartment complex on C-1 and R-1 property located <br />on the east side of King Street, South of Seventeenth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 113 was duly filed by <br />B. W. and PATRICIA G. ROBINSON appealing the decision of the Zoning <br />Administrator and requesting a hearing on said variance before the <br />city Council; and <br /> <br /> WHERF2%S, after hearing on notice, the City Council has <br />determined that the decision of the Zoning Administrator should be <br />affirmed and that said Variance should be granted subject to certain <br />conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby affirms the decision of the Zoning Adminis- <br />trator to grant a variance on Variance Application No. 1839, subject <br />to conditions as follows: <br /> <br />1. That a six foot block wall be constructed along the applicant's <br /> entire east and south property lines; <br /> <br />2. That all off-street parking be on asphalt or concrete and be <br /> marked; <br /> <br />3. That the applicant adhere to all provisions of the R-3 District; <br /> <br />4. That development be according to plot plan, excepting for minor <br /> modifications approved by the City Planning Director; <br /> <br />5. That the following conditions be complied with prior to the <br /> issuance of a bu~ing permit: <br /> <br />a® <br /> <br />That the subdivider's engineer furnish the Department <br />of Public Works an on-site drainage flow plan showing <br />the direction and flow to adjacent streets when this <br />property is developed; <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />That the subdivider's engineer furnish the Department <br />of Public Works a final grading plan including existing <br />elevations along the property lines. <br /> <br />c. That the owner pay a drainage assessment fee of $565.00 <br /> per acre. <br /> <br />dm <br /> <br />That an easement be provided for King Street for a width <br />of 30 feet, center line to property line, for street <br />purposes. <br /> <br />NOTE: <br /> <br />Dedication shall be initiated by owner, through <br />the Department of Public Works, at least two weeks <br />prior to application for a building permit to <br />avoid delay. <br /> <br />e. That the subdivider submit street improvement plans for <br /> King Street. <br /> <br />f. That all elevations be on 1958 Orange County Survey Datum. <br /> <br /> <br />
