RESOL ON JJJ/ RESOEDTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY. B~ IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY O0~fCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, The City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the psrcel hereinafter described consists of that certain lot and parcel of land within ~g~g~ the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha by deed and/or purchase from the owners &f the fee title thereto and/or from th~ County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases mede and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership iu order that the same may~ again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcel by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held ou the 18th day of December, 1944, sell said property st the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcel to the person who has offered lu writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount cf said bid.
