SOL I ON Ho. f A RE~OLUTION OF THE 0ITY 00UNCIL OF THE 0ITY OF ~ANTA ANA DECLARING THEIR INTEN- TION TO ORDER THE 0LOSING UP AND ABANDON- MENT OF AN ALLEY LOCATED 133 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF WEST SEVENTH STREET AND EXTENDING EASTERLY FROM PACIFIC AVENUE HERETOFORE DEDICATED FOR ALLEY PUltPOSES TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; DECLARING IT TO BE FOR THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE AND FIXING THE TIHE AND PLACE FOR HEAIt/NG OBJECTIONS TO SAID PROPOSED IMPROV~ENT The City Council pursuant to the p~ovisions of an act of the legislature of the State of California, known as #Street Improve- ment Law of 1S89", approved March 6, 1~9, Statutes of 1SSP, p. and amendments thereto, do resolve and declare as follows: SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience re- quires the closing up and abandonment of an alleyway parallel to and midway between West Sixth Street and West Seventh Street, extending from Pacific Avenue 400.00 feet Easterly therefrom, as hereinafter particularly described, heretofore dedicated for alley purposes in the City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California, and It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana to order that portion of the alleyway hereinafter described to be closed up and abandoned; said portion is par~icularly described as follows, to-wit: That certain alley 15.75 feet in width, running through the center of Block Fifth Street T~act, as perm~D thereof recorded in Misc. _Maps, Book ~, Page Records of Orange Oounty, California~ and extending ~aeterly from Pacific Avenue a distance of ~00 feet. all of which is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana for said ~loelng up and abandonment by Resolution No. 3~ 37 on the 5th day of June, 19~.
