RESOLUTION 64-17 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY <br />IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, SANTA ANAHIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT OF OBANGE COUNTY <br />(Now known as the Santa Ana Unified School District) has presented <br />to the City a deed dated January 15, 1964, conveying an easement <br />for street purposes on Glenwood Place from Raitt Street to Green- <br />ville Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ALICE L. NUGENT and RICHARD L. NUGENT have delivered <br />to the City a deed dated January 11, 1964, conveying easements for <br />street purposes on the North side of Sherwood Avenue, East of Main <br />Street, and the West side of Maple Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, JOSEPH R. CALLENS has delivered to the City a deed <br />dated January 23, 1964, conveying an easement for water main and <br />sanitary sewer purposes on Olive Street, North of Sunflower Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of property at the Southwest corner of <br />McFadden Avenue and Harbor Boulevard previously granted to the City <br />an easement for street purposes at said location and the description <br />on the grant deed was in error. It has now been determined that the <br />City execute a deed quitclaiming said property to the present owner, <br />SHELL OIL COMPANY, a Delaware corporation, which Company has delivered <br />to the City a new deed dated December 2, 1963, correctly describing <br />said property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said transactions are without cash considera- <br />tion being paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed <br />quitclaiming to SHELL OIL COMPANY, a Delaware corporation, that <br />property at the Southwest corner of McFadden Avenue and Harbor <br />Boulevard which was previously conveyed to the City in error and to <br />deliver the same to said owner. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City accept said deeds and <br />Carl J.
