P SOLUT O <br /> <br /> WH~EREAS, ~he State of California under Chapter 47, <br />S~a~utes of 194~, (4~h Extra Session) has appropriated funds for <br />allotmen~ by the Director of Finance to provide financial assis- <br />tance to Local Agencies defined ~herein as counties, cities or <br />cities and counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed <br />one-half the cost of preparing engineering field surveys, engineer- <br />ing or architectural designs, and working and detailed drawings <br />and specifications (hereinafter called "Plans") required for post- <br />war pu0±ic works projects descriOed as "specific projects" in said <br />Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ban~e Ana, California, hereinafter <br />designated as "Local Agency", desires to epply to the Director of <br />Finance and/or the Post War Public Works Review Board, as the <br />case may be, for an allotment of the Bta~e's share of ~he esti- <br />mated cos~ of preparing the completed plans hereinafter mentioned <br />and t~ere has ~een prepared and presented to this Legislative Body <br />for consideration an ~ppiication for such ourpose; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Locsl Agency ~has provided, or will make available <br /> upon approval of ~he aforementioned application, sufficient funds <br /> to prepare ~he completed plans herein mentioned; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit <br /> the aforesaid application ~o ~he Director of Finance and/or the <br /> Post War Puoltc Works Review Board, as the case may be, requesting <br /> a£1o~ment of Two Thousand Bix Hundred Twenty-Seven ($2$2~.OO)Dollars <br /> being not more Than one-half the cos~ of preparing said completed <br /> plans, or for such amomn~ as may ce approved by the Director of <br /> Finance and/or the Post War PuOlic Works Review Board (said allot- <br /> ment to ~e used for ~he purpose of defraying the cost of preparing <br /> said completed plans required), for a specific project to Ce unde~- <br /> taken by local agency and descrioed as "Improvements to Santiago <br /> Creek to Provide Necessary Flood Control"; <br /> <br /> <br />
