RESOLUTION NO. 64-R9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE ALL ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD <br />CONTROL PERMITS ON BEHALF OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ in connection with the administration of the De- <br />partment of Public Works of the City of Santa Aha, it becomes nec- <br />essary to seek permission to enter into or encroach upon the facilities <br />of the Orange County Flood Control District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ in the past~ permits allowing such encroachment have <br />been executed by the Mayor after action by the City Council~ said action <br />being based upon the recommendations of the Department of Public Works; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Council finds that the routine negotiations <br />between the City and the Orange County Flood Control District can be <br />better handled and expedited by having the Public Works Director of the <br />City of Santa Ana execute all flood control permits on behalf of the City~ <br />as permittee. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Aha that the Public Works Director be~ and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana~ as permittee~ <br />all Orange County flood control permits.
