RESOLUTION 64-35 ACCEPTING DEEDS GRANTING <br />EASEMENTS WITHOUT CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT CHUCKROW CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., a New York <br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated February 11, <br />1964, conveying an easement for street purposes On the East side <br />of Bristol Street and the South side of Central Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, STANDARD BRANDS PAINT CO., INC. OF CALIFORNIA <br />(formerly known as STANDARD BRANDS PAINT CO., INC.) has delivered <br />to the City a deed dated September 17, 1963, conveying vehicular <br />access rights on the West side of Main Street at Central Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, STANDARD BRANDS PAINT CO., INC. OF CALIFORNIA <br />(formerly known as STANDARD BRANDS PAINT CO., INC.) has presented <br />to the City a deed dated September 16, 1963, conveying an easement <br />for street purposes on the West side of Main Street, South of <br />Warner Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT L. LOEWENSTEIN and DONNA LOEWENSTEIN have <br />delivered to the City a deed dated March 6, 1964, conveying an <br />easement for street purposes on the West side of Harbor Boulevard, <br />South of McFadden Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GREENWICH VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a <br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated February 26, <br />1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on the East side of <br />Bristol Street, North of Memory Lane; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, successor in <br />interest to STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, WESTERN OPERATIONS, <br />INC., Lessee under Lease dated September 10, 1957, has delivered <br />to the city a quitclaim deed quitclaiming to the City all interest <br />it holds by virtue of said lease (recorded November 11,1957, in <br />Book 4090, Page 372, Orange County Official Records) to real <br />property on the North side of First Street, West of Grand Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PETROLEUM FACILITIES, INC., a Delaware corporation, <br />assignee of STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, WESTERN OPERATIONS, <br />INC., Lessee under Lease dated July 30, 1958, recorded November 28, <br />1958, Book 4497, Page 217, Official Records of Orange County, has <br />delivered to the City a quitclaim deed dated February 19, 1964, <br />quitclaiming to the City all interest it holds by virtue of said <br />lease to real property located on the Northeast corner of Flower <br />Street and Edinger Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration <br />being paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of March, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
