RESOLUTION NO. ~l RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COND~NATION OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES WHEREAS, Flower Street, as it now exists between Fifteenth and Seventeenth Streets, is inadequate in condition and width to accommodate the present or future demands for traffic thereon; and WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require that the right of way of said Flower Street be extended, widened and improved to a width of sixty feet between Fifteenth and Seventeenth Streets in the City of santa Ana, and that the City of Santa Aha take or acquire the hereinafter described property in order to effect such widening and improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that public interest and necessity require that!Flower Street, between Fifteenth Street and Seventeenth Street, in the City of Santa Ana, be widened and improved to a width of sixty feet, and that said public interest and necessity require that the City of Santa Ana do have, take and acquire all of the following described parcel of land in order to carry out said public improvement: An easement for street purposes over and across the following: A strip of land 30 feet in width, the Easterly line of which is the hereinafter described center line of Flower Street, from a point in the said center line~ which is lk7.22 feet North 0o 31' East of the center line of Fifteenth Street to a point in the said center line of Flower Street which is 27~.76 feet North 0° 31' East of the center line of Fifteenth Street, together with th~ strip of land approximately ~.06 feet wide on the Easterly side of said center line of Flower Street which was formerly a part of the land now held by Charles R. Beutel. Subject to easements and rights of way of record. The center line of Flower Street above referred to is more particularly described as follows:
