RESOLUTION 64-44 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A <br />QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore LODEWICES J. and MARY E. SCHOONDERWOERD <br />delivered to the City a deed granting to the City an easement for <br />street purposes on Posey Street, west of Newhope Street, in exchange <br />for adjacent City property which is of no further value to the City <br />and which the City proposes to quitclaim to said grantors. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed <br />quitclaiming to LODEWICES J. SCHOONDERWOERD and MARY E. SCHOONDERWOERD <br />the City's interest in that certain parcel of real property lying <br />north of Posey Street and west of Newhope Street and described as: <br /> <br />That portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 5 <br />South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian <br />described as follows: <br />CCmunencing at the intersection of the center lines of Sugar <br />Avenue and Newhope Street as shown on a map of survey filed <br />in Book 51, Page 35, Records of Survey in the Office of the <br />County Recorder of Orange County, California, and running <br />thence North 00°40'25" West along said center line of Newhope <br />Street 766.00 feet; thence South 89°30'35" West 418.00 feet <br />to a point on a tangent curve concave Southeasterly, having <br />a radius of 18.91 feet, said point being the true point of <br />beginning; thence Westerly and Southerly along said curve <br />through a central angle of 73°34'20" an arc distance of <br />24.28 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence Southerly <br />and Westerly along a curve concave Northwesterly, having a <br />radius of 101.00 feet through a central angle of 73°34'20", an <br />arc distance of 129.69 feet to a tangent line; thence North <br />89"30'35" East, 115.23 feet; thence North 00"40'25" West <br />86.00 feet to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />and deliver the same to said owner. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of April, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
