RESOLUTION 64-74 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 4" TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, on April 20, 1964, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by Resolution 64-52, which said Resolution found and declared that said annexation proceeding was initiated by a petition therefor signed by the Owners of all of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed, and which said Resolution was published in accordance with the requirements of Government Code §35310.1 setting the protest hearing for May 18, 1964, a date upon which the regular meeting of the said City Council was scheduled; and at 7:30 P.M. on said date it was found that there was not a quorum of said Council present and said meeting was regularly adjourned to the 21st day of May, 1964, at 7:30 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said City Council hereby finds and declares that no protest was received from any owner of property within the City; that said territory was uninhab- ited on April 20, 1964, was contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of the statements hereinabove and in Resolution 64-52 are true and correct and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the County of Orange, State of California, and described as: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the "East First Street Annex No. 1" as annexed to the City of Santa Aha by Ordinance NS-650, said Northeast Corner being a point on the South line of First Street, said South line being 33 feet South measured at right angles frem the center line of First Street, said point being on the Northwest corner of Lot D of the Stafford and Tustin Tract of land as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 2 at pages 618 and 619 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and running thence South 0° 27' 15" East along the West line of said Lot D and along the City boundary of Santa Aha and along the East line of said "East First Street Annex No. 1", a distance of 733.36 feet; thence departing from said City boundary North 89° 32' 45" East along a line parallel with said South line of First Street, a distance of 643.50 feet to the East line of said Lot D; thence North 0~ 27' 15" West along the East line of said Lot D 733.36 feet to said South line of First Street and to the Northeast corner of said Lot D, and to the boundary of the City of Santa Ana as established by the "First and Tustin W. Annex" by Ordinance NS-296; thence South 89~ 32' 45" West along said City boundary and along said South line of First Street a distance of 450.61 feet to the Southeast corner of the "Mabury Annex No. 1" as established by Ordinance NS-259; thence South 89~ 32' 45" West along said City boundary and along said South line of First Street, a distance of 192.89 feet to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Aha and to Ward No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Resolution effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this annexation, the designation that applies is "Santa Aha City--1957 and 1958 Annexes".
