RESOLUTION NO. ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DECLARING ITS INTENTION AS SUCH CITY COUNCIL TO VACATE <br />A CERTAIN ~TJ~y WITHIN SAID CITY AND FIXING THE TIi~E <br />AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OB- <br />JECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore a petition was addressed to the City Coun- <br />cil requesting that a certain alleyway be abandoned and the matter was <br />referred to the City Engineer and the City Planning Consultant for recom- <br />mendation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thereafter both the City Engineer and the Planning <br />Consultant recommended abandonment of said alley as unnecessary for pre- <br />sent or prospective public use; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has this date adopted a map graphi- <br />cally showing said alleyway; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha does hereby declare its intention to vacate, abandon <br />and close up all of that portion of an alleyway shown on and in accord- <br />ance with the official map or plan on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk of said City, and reference is hereby made to said map for further <br />particulars, and the property therein graphically shown and proposed <br />hereby to be vacated being in ~he City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California and described as follows: <br /> <br /> An alley l0 feet in width, lying between Lots i and 2, Block 3, <br /> of the French Street Tract, as recorded in Book 4, Page 45, <br /> Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California. <br /> <br />and the 2nd day of September , 1947 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />on said day in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City is <br />hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in <br />or objecting to the proposed vacation; and <br /> <br /> It is further resolved that the Street Superintendent of the <br />City of Santa Aha is hereby ordered and directed to post conspicuously <br />along the line of said alley at least three notices of said vacation of <br />said alley and that said notices shall be posted not more than three hun- <br />dred feet apart and said notices shall state the passage of this resolu- <br />tion of intention and the time and place of the hearing here i~ called. <br /> <br /> <br />
