RESOLUTION NO. ~ RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED WHEREAS, Redmond W. Bales, also known as R. W. Bales, and Edith Ro Bales, husband and wife, presented to the City Council of Santa Ana a grant deed dated June 25th, 19~7, conveying certain real property to the City of Santa Aha, a municipal corporation. Sai-d real property being sit- uated in the County of Orange, State of California, and described as fol- lOWS: A parcel of land in the City of Santa Aha located at the South- west corner of First Street and Flower Street and more partic- ularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of Flower Street as deeded to the City of Santa Ana by deed recorded in Deed Book 222, page 152, 119.98 feet South of the North line of Lot l, Block ."P,, Heil Tract, as recorded in Book 23, page 28, Miscellaneous Re- cords of Los Angeles County, said point 0eing the beginning of a curve concave to the Southwest with a central angle of 12~09'17" and a radius of %70 feet; thence Northerly and Westerly along the arc of said curve a distance of 99.69 feet to a point of com- pound curvature which is the begi~ning of a curve concave to the Southwest, with a central angle of 78~17'33" and a radius of 20 feet; thence Northerly and Westerly along the arc of the said 20 foot radius curve a distance of 27.32 feet to its point of tan- gancy with a line which is parallel to and 5 feet Southerly from the North line of Lots i and 2 of the said Block "P" in the Hell Tract; thence Westerly parallel to and 5 feet Southerly from the said North line of Lots i and 2 to the West line of the said Lot 2; thence Northerly along the West line of Lot 2 to the North- west corner thereof; thence Easterly along the North line of Lots 2 and l, which is also the South line of First Street, to the West line of Flower Street as described above; thence Southerly along the West line of Flower Street to the point of beginning. Subject to taxes for the fiscal year 19~7-19~8. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Aha ac- cepts said deed and the City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha is hereby in- structed to attach to said deed a certified copy of this Resolution, to pay to said grantors, through escrow, the s~ of two hundred and fifty dol- lars ($250.00) and to provide for the recording of said deed with the Coun- ty Recorder of Orange County. at PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha its adjourned regularmeeting ~eld on the 7th day of August, 19~7.
