RESOLUTION <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing and Directing the <br />City Clerk to Advertise for Bids for the <br />Irmprovement of Flower Street, from a <br />point 150 feetNorth of the Center line <br />of Pirst Street to a point 150 feet <br />South of said Center Line, in the City <br />of Santa Aha, and Fixing the Prevailing <br />Wage Rate. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or <br />proposals for the doing of the work specified in those certain <br />plans and specifications adopted the SOth day of June, 1947, by <br />this City Council for the Improvement of Flower Street, from a <br />point 150 feet north of the Center Line of First Street to a <br />point 150 feet south of said Center Line, which said advertisement <br />shall be substantially in the following words and figures, to-wit: <br /> <br />~gTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS <br /> <br /> In p~rsuance of a resolution of the Board of T~ustees <br />of the City of Santa Aha, Orange County, California, adopted <br />directing this notice, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the said Board <br />of Trustees will receive at the office of the City Clerk in the <br />City Hall of the City of Santa Ana, on or before the hou~ of V:30 <br />o,clock p.m., on the 2nd day of September , 1947, sealed <br />bids or proposals for the IMPROVE?~ENT OF FLOWER STREET, from a <br />point 150 feet north of the Center Line of First Street to a point <br />150 feet south of said Center Line, in the City of Santa Aha, <br />California. <br /> <br /> Bids must be made on a form provided for the purpose <br />addressed to the Board of Trustees, Santa Aha, California, marked <br />"Bid for Improvement of Flower Street". <br /> <br /> Notice is hereby given'bidders that in accordance with <br />the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, the Board of <br />Trustees of the City of Santa Aha has ascertained the prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or <br />mechanic needed to execute the contract which will be awarded the <br />successful bidder, to be as follows: <br /> <br />pla~ification <br /> <br />Air Compressor operator <br />Apprentice engineer (fireman, oiler, greaser) <br />Asphalt plant engineer <br />Asphalt plant fireman <br />Asphalt raker and ironer <br />Asphalt spreading, tamping or finishing machine <br /> operator <br />Blade grader operator <br />Bootman (oil distributor) <br />Carpenter <br />Cement finisher <br />Concrete cu~er (impervious membrane <br />Concrete mixer operator - skip type <br />Elevating grader operator <br /> <br />Rate~ per Hour <br /> <br /> $1.63 <br /> 1.525 <br /> 1.90 <br /> <br /> 1.55 <br /> <br />1.90 <br />1.775 <br />1.475 <br />1.90 <br />1.975 <br />1.525 <br />1.775 <br />2.025 <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
