Thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line to a point which is 250 feet Easterly (measured at right angles to the center line of Main Street) from the center line of Main Street; Thence Northerly, parallel to and distant 250 feet (mea- sured at right angles) Easterly from the center line of Main Street to an intersection with the center line of Dyer Road; Thence Westerly along the center line of Dyer Road to an intersection with the center line of Main Street; Thence Northerly along the center line of Main Street to an intersection with the center line of Delhi Road, the point of beginning. The above described property being in the County of Orange, State of Cali- fornia. Notice is hereby given that on the 17th day of November, 1947, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at the intersection of Third and Main Streets in the City of Santa Ann, Califor- nia, any person ~wning real property within said territory proposed to be annexed as herein and in the Petition referred to herein set out, and having any objection to the proposed annexation may appear before the City Council of Santa Ana and show cause why such territory should not be annexed. At any time not later than the hour and date next hereinabove set out for t~e hearing of objections, any o~vner o~ real property within said territory hereinabove described may make written protest against the proposed election. Such protests must be in writing and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property effected by said pro- posed annexation and the location and area of such property. Further, notice is hereby given t~at it is the intention of the City Council of t~e City of Santa Ann to call a Special Election upon the proposition that it is proposed to. annex to, incorporate in, and make a part of the City of Santa Ann, a ~unicipal Corporation, all that certain real property hereinabove described ~nd for the purpose of this Resolution and said Election designated by the name and words of identification as follows: A strip of land ~22 feet wide along the west side of Main Street from Delhi Road to the Southeast line of the Pacific Electric Railroad. Also a strip of land 250 feet on each side of Main Street from Dyer Road on the East and from the Pacific Electric Railroad on the West to Newport Road. -3-
