RESOLUTION NO. $612 RESOLUTION V~CATING PORTIONS OF LOWELL ~d~D OLIVE STREETS ~'JD TWO UNNAmeD AT.I,~¥S, J~S DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NUMBER 1214. WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of Santa Ana adopted Ordinance #1214 declaring its intention to vacate portions of Lowell Street, Olive Street, and two unnamed alleys therein and hereinbelow described, which said Ordinance was regularly published as required for the publishing of Ordinances; and ~HEREAS, Section 8322 of ~fLEREAS, notices of said intenti~.,n were duly posted as required by the Streets and Highways code; and a public hearing was regularly held on the 17th day of No- vember, 1947, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in Santa Ana, California, upon due notice in said Ordinance and said posted notices contained; NOW THEREFORE, after due hearing, be it resolved that the City Coun- cil of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds from all the evidence sub~nitted that those certain portions ol~ Lowell Street, Olive Street and two u~amed alleys herein~elow described and as described in the Ordinance of intention hereinabove referred to are, and the portion of each hereinbelow described is, unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; and be it furt~er resolved that the City Council of the City of Santa Aha here~y m~kes its order vacating, abandoning and closing up for street and alley purposes those certain parcels of reel property Oeing in t~e City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, and described as follows: 1. An alley l0 feet in width, lying between Lots i and 2, Block 3, of the French Street Tract, as recorded in BooE ~, Page ~5, Niscell~eous Maps, Records of Orange County, California. 2. An alley 15 feet wide lying between Lots 36 and 37 of the Main Street Tract, as recorded in Book 3 at Page 20 of Miscellaneous Naps, Recorus of Orange County, California. ~. All of Lowell Street between the south line of St. Gertrude Place and the north line of Anahurst Place, ~nd all of Olive Street between the south line of St. Gertrude Place and the north line of Anahurst Place as shown on a map of Tract #681 as recorded in Book 20, Page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
