<br /> Reference is made to that certain leace, dated July 1, 1941,
<br />between the City of Santa Aha, California, as lessor, and the United
<br />States of A~erica, ac lessee, whereby the following described premises
<br />were leased by the said lessor to said lessee, vis:

<br />State of 0alifornla, more particularly described aa foll~el
<br />Those portions of ~ots 8, 9, 11, and 1~, Berry Rancho, aa
<br />ehman on a map recorded in Book 9, Page 7, ~iscellaneous
<br />Records of Los A~eles County, California, lying easterly
<br />of the east liue of that certain County road, of variable
<br />width, known as and called ante Aha Road, and westerly
<br />of that certain strip of land, approximately 68 feet in
<br />width, conveyed to the ~anta Aha Railroad by deed dated
<br /> May 5, 1891, and recorded in Book VS, Page 97, Deeds,
<br /> Records of Orange County; AL~0 that portion of Lot 13,
<br /> Block A, Berry Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 9,
<br /> Page 6, said Miscellaneous Records, lying southerly of thc
<br /> south line of that certain County Road, sixty-six (66)
<br /> feet in width, known as and called Kent Avenue; said
<br /> portions of Lots 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13 containing 409.49
<br /> acres of land, more or less?

<br /> Paragraph 13 of the above referenced lease agreement provides

<br />"The Goverr~nent chall have the right, exercisable at any
<br />time during the ter~ of this lease or any renewal thereof,
<br />to purchase in fee simple all the pre, iaea described in
<br />paragraph 2 hereof for the sum of not to exCeed Two Hur~rad
<br />Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($207,6001)~ or for a
<br />lower price ~utually agreeable to both parties.'

<br />January 31, 1946 (11 F.R. 1~65) and the Surplus Property Act of
<br />1944(58 Btat. 765) and VIAA Regulation 1, as a~ended, the interest
<br />of the United Sta~es of A~eriea in and to ~he above described land
<br />and i~provements thereon has been duly declared surplus and assigned
<br />to the War Assert ~d~nistration for disposal in accordance therewith.
