RESOLUTION NO. ~560 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED WHEREAS, Heretofore on March l~th, 1927 the City Council accepted a certain easement for rights of way to maintain sanitary sewers from L. D. Carter and Susan Carter, his wife, the deed granting the same being recorded in Book 25 at Page 378, Official Records of Orange Coun- ty, California, which conveyed to the City of Santa Aha rights of way over several parcels of land; and WHEREAS, there was an error in the description of said Item Four (4), resulting in the City obtaining a right of way from the intersec- tion of Ross and Pomona Streets diagonally to Birch Street at the North Line of Tract 289; and WHEREAS, the City installed and has since maintained its sewer as originally intended in the area that has since been dedicated to the City as an extension of said Ross Street, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana: That the Mayor of the City of Santa Aha is hereby authorized and directed to execute in the name of said City of Santa Aha a quitclaim deed to Commercial Properties, Inc., A Corporation, in consideration of a recording of the map of Tract 1166 dedicating to the City of Santa Aha the extension of Ross Street whereon the City now maintains its sewer line. The property to be conveyed by said deed situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: A strip of land 5 feet wide on each side of the surveyed center line of Ross Street extended from the South line of Tract No. 531, as shown on a map recorded in Book 18, at page 23, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, to the surveyed center line of Birch Street at the North line of Tract No. 289, as shown on a map recorded in Book l~, at page 8, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; .it being the intention to convey all right, title and in- terest in and to said strip of land which was acquired as - i -
