RESOLUTION 64-80 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE IRVINE COMPANY, a corporation, has delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated May 14, 1964, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south sade of Seventeenth Street, east of
<br />Westwood Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EDGAR E. COX and DORIS W. COX have delivered a
<br />deed dated April 21, 1964, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street purposes at the southwest corner of Seventeenth Street
<br />and Lincoln Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MICHAEL'S MARKETS, INC. has delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated May 20, 1964, quitclaiming their interest to an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes at the southwest corner of Seventeenth
<br />Street and Lincoln Avenue conveyed to the City by Edgar E. and
<br />Doris W. Cox; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, C. J. ALEXANDER has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated May 1, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes south
<br />of First Street, East of Bristol Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SAMUEL A. COOPER has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated May 16, 1964, conveying easements for sewer purposes at
<br />Cooper Drive, south of Silver Drive; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, STATER BROS. MARKETS, a corporation, has delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated May 5, 1964, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes at the southeast corner of Fairview Street and
<br />Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, M. C. LARRABEE has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated May 19, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Eighth Street, 140 feet west of the center line
<br />of English Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SANTA ANA VALLEY IRRIGATION COMPANY has delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated May 20, 1964, quitclaiming to the City
<br />all right, title and interest in and to the Santa Aha Valley
<br />Irrigation Company's easements and water facilities frown east of
<br />Lincoln Avenue on Seventeenth Street to east of Baker Street on
<br />Eighth Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EGON A. GARDNER and HELEN A. GARDNER have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated May 25, 1964, granting vehicular access
<br />rights to Seventeenth Street, east of Wright Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PAUL T. WISE and LORRAINE D. WISE have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated May 13, 1964, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the west side of Grand Avenue, 400 feet south
<br />of Seventeenth Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1964.
