RESOLUTION 64-90 ACKNOWLEDGING THE P. ECEIPT OF A COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCU- LATE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA UNDER THE NAME OF "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION", ACCOMPANYING STATEMENT AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION WHEREAS, heretofore, on June 10, 1964, there was filed with the Clerk of the Council of Santa Ana a copy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, accompanied by a written statement containing reasons for said Petition together with an Affidavit of Publication of the same in the Santa Ana Register on June 6, 1964; and WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the Legislative Body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the Notice and approving the circulation of the Petition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice, Statement and Affidavit, as hereinabove set out, and that approval be and the same is hereby given for the circulation of the Petition for Annexation of that certain territory heretofore and hereby designated as "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION". The circulation of said Petition shall not begin until twenty-one (21) days after the date of publication of said Notice and Statement. The territory herein designated "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION" lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Santa Clara Avenue with the West line of Tus~n Avenue said point being 25.00 feet South and 30.00 feet West of the Southwest corner of Lot 5 in Block "B" of the A. B. Chatanan Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in December, 1870 and shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, said point of beginning being on the point of beginning of the description of the land annexed to the City of Santa Ana August 5, 1963, by Ordinance No. NS-682; and running thence North 0° 53' 22" East, 685.00 feet along said NS-682 boundary and along the West line of Tustin Avenue to the Westerly extension of the North line of the South one-half (S.½) of said Lot 5, said West line being 30.00 feet Westerly measured at right angles from the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence continuing along said NS-682 boundary South 88° 57' 07" East 1,350.30 feet along said Westerly extension and along said North line to a point on the East line of said Lot 5 and to a point in the Tustin city boundary as established by Tustin City Ordinance No. 145; thence departing from said Santa Ana city boundary and running along said Tustin city boundary North 0° 53' 22" East, 660 feet, more or less, along the east line of said Lot 5 to the Southeast corner of Lot 16 of Tract No. 2989 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 89, page 1, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County; thence departing from said Tustin city boundary and running North 88° 57' 09" West, 1,350.82 feet along the South line of said Tract No. 2989 and along the South line of Lot 4, Block "B", in said A. B. Cha~nan Tract, and its Westerly extension to a point in the West line of Tustin Avenue, said West line being 30.00 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence along said West line South 0° 53' 22" West 145 feet, more or less, to a point in the North line of Lot 8, Block "A", said A.
