RESOLUTION NO. 3883 RESOLUTION OFT HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REJECTING BID PRESENTED IN DECLARING OPINION THAT W0tLK ~AY BE PERFORMED MoRE ECONOMICAL BY DAY LABOR AND MA- TERIALS OBTAINED IN THE OPEN MARKET WHEREAS, heretofore the Council of the City of Santa Aha did advertise for bids for alterations and painting in the Police Department and did receive one bid in amount of Two Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty Collars from ~eans & Ulrich, this being the only bid submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the 0ity of Santa Aaa hereby rejects said bid and declares that in its opinion the work in question for alterations and painting in the Police Department may be performed more economically by day labor or the materials or supplies furnished at a lower price in the open market and hereby declares its intention to proceed with the said work and have the same done in such manner. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of December , 1949.
