A WRi'~mN ABDDNENT IN FAVOR OF <br />O~DINANCE ~S-729 TO BE S~M~r~ED TO TEE <br />VOTERS ~ Rt~'~ENDUM PETITION <br /> <br /> Ws~.~EAS, a special municipal election consolidated with the statewide <br />general election is to be held tu the city of Santa Aha o~ November 3, 1964, at <br />which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following <br />city measure: <br /> <br />Shall Or~luauce NS-729 changing territory <br />thereim described from the R-1 (Simgle <br />Family Residence District) to the R-~ <br />(Sub~rba~ Apartment District) be a~opted <br />to become effective iu the City of <br />Santa Ama? <br /> <br />: YES : : <br />: NO : : <br /> <br /> NOW, T~FORE, BE IT RESOLV~: That this City Co~ucil, beimg the legislative <br />body of the City hereby authorizes Harry 1~. ~a~v~y, James Gilmore, and Nenry H. <br />Schlueter~ members of said body, to file a written argument in favor of aclo~tien of <br />Ordinance NS-729 by a "Yes" vote on ~he proposition set forth in the recitals hereof <br />in accordamce with Article. 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Electicms Code of the <br />State of California and to change said argument until and including the date fixed <br />by the Clerk of the C~uncil after which no arguments for or against said proposition <br />be submzitted to her. <br /> <br /> PASS~n AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its <br />reg~,l~ meett~g held on the 17th day of August, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF '1'-..'
