RESOLUTION 64-140 DECLARING OCTOBER 5, 1964, <br />AS THE TIME FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION <br />OF WAGE RATES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES AND THAT ANY <br />WAGE CHANGE MADE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE AS OF <br />SEPTEMBER 1, 1964 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, wage studies and salary surveys have now been <br />completed, but the detailed conclusions were not available in <br />time for hearing at either of the Council meetings held in <br />September and the Council desires a public hearing to be held. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br />hereby declares that any change in wage rates made as a result <br />of said studies and survey shall be effective as of September 1, <br />1964, and that the delay in adoption of a Salary Resolution was <br />to obtain full information and to provide a time for hearing all <br />persons and organizations wishing to be heard to provide further <br />information to assist in determining which wages should be <br />adjusted and in what amount. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That October 5, 1964, at the <br />hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, Third and Main Streets, <br />Santa Aha, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place <br />where any person may appear and be heard on the question of <br />whether any wage now fixed should be increased or decreased and, <br />if either, then how much such change should be. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF T~E COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
