RESOLUTION 64-161 ORDERING THE VACATION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY BETWEEN VALENCIA AND POINSETTIA STREETS AND RUNNING NORTHERLY FROM SEVENTEENTH STREET FREEWAY ON-RAMP, AND RESERVING THEREIN A PUBLIC EASEMENT FOR WATER MAIN PURPOSES WHEREAS, on October 5, 1964, the City Council adopted Resolution ~4-t48 declaring intention to vacate the unnamed alley herein described and to reserve therein a public easement for water main purposes; and WHEREAS, on November 2nd, 1964, a public hearing was duly held on said question of alley vacation on posted notices and the publication of said Resolution 64-148. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does hereby find and determine that the unnamed alley herein described is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order vacating and abandoning for street purposes that certain unnamed alley in the City of Santa Ana, California, described as: That portion of that certain alley, 15.00 feet wide, in Block "G" of Nob Hill Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 24 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, lying northerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point in a line that is parallel with and 52.00 feet north, measured at right angles from the center line of Seventeenth Street as said center line is shown on a map of the Resubdivision of the Nob Hill Tract recorded in Book 6, page 3, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, said point being 0.26 feet Easterly measured along said parallel line from the West line of Lot 1 in Block G of said Resubdivision of the Nob Hill Tract and running thence North 0° 09' 27" East 1.00 foot to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 20.00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 42° 42' 27" an arc distance of 14.91 feet to a tangent line; thence along said tangent line North 42° 33' 00" West to a point in the Westerly line of said alley. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying Northerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point on the West line of Lot 3, Block G resubdivisions of the Nob Hill Tract as per map recorded in Book 6, page 3, Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, said point being 41.27 feet South of the North- west corner of said lot; said point being a point in a curve concave Northerly having a radius of 221.00 feet, a radial line through said point bears North 4° 49' 45" East; thence Westerly along said curve to a point in the Westerly line of said alley. RESERVING AN EASEMENT FOR WATER MAIN PURPOSES over that portion of a strip of land 15 feet wide, lying within the above-described parcel. The center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of Lot 28 in said Block'S", said point being 1.5 feet South of the Northwest corner Of said Lot 28, and running thence South 42° 33' 00" East to a point in the center line of Seventeenth Street distant Westerly 92.5 feet from the intersecting center lines of Seventeenth Street and Poinsettia Street measured along said Seventeenth Street center line.
