RESOLUTION 64-171 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A VARIANCE <br />ON APPLICATION NO. 2019, FILED BY THE MEREDITH <br />COMPANY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on <br />notice, DENIED a variance on Variance Application No. 2019, filed <br />by T2fE MEREDITH COMPANY, and Appeal Application No. 143 was duly <br />filed by the applicant presenting the matter before the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing, has <br />determined that all of the statute and ordinance requirements for <br />the granting of a variance are adequately met and that said <br />variance should be granted. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does <br />hereby overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and does <br />hereby grant a variance on Variance Application No. 2019, filed by <br />THE MEREDITH COMPANY to allow the construction of two-story <br />(thirty-foot high) dwellings on Lots 1 through 6, Lots 15 through <br />19, Lots 24 through 28, Lots 36 through 39, Lots 44 through 61, <br />and Lots 66 and 67, all in Tract 4000, located south of Santa Clara <br />Avenue, between Wright Street and Tustin Avenue, within 150 feet <br />of the R-1 and A-1 Districts.
