RESOLUTION 64-175 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, D. P. LEONARD, also known as Doxander P. Leonard,
<br />and EDNA M. LEONARD have delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />February 26, 1964, granting an easement for street purposes on
<br />the east side of Bristol Street, north of Memory Lane; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, a
<br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated October 19,
<br />1964, granting an easement for street purposes on the west side
<br />of Bristol Street, north of Talbert Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RUDOLPH ALDANA and MARY J. ALDANA have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated November 3, 1964, granting easements for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Pomona Street, west of Spruce
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br />to the
<br />street
<br />Place;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, KIMBALL W. SMALL and MARTHA L. SMALL have delivered
<br />City a deed dated October 26, 1964, granting an easement for
<br />purposes at the northwest corner of Kilson Drive and Anahurst
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ORANGE ~vzPIRE AREA COUNCIL, BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA,
<br />a corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated October 30,
<br />1964, granting an easement for street and public utility purposes
<br />on the east side of Bear Street, south of Wakeham Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BEAR STATE BUILDERS, INC. has delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated November 4, 1964, granting real property at the south-
<br />east corner of Baker and Second Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a body
<br />corporate and politic, has delivered to the City an easement deed
<br />dated October 20, 1964, granting an easement for street purposes
<br />east of Flower Street at Talbert Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
