RESOLUTION 64-177 ACCEPTING HOLTZ DEED AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXEC~£ION OF ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS <br />TO EFFECT THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY <br />FOR THE REALIGNt4ENT OF THE FREEWAY RAMP ON <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF SEVENTEE~£H STREET, WEST <br />OF POINSETTIA STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in realigning the Fre~ay Ramp on the north side of <br />Seventeenth Street, between Poinsettia Street and Valencia Street, <br />an exchange of properties has been agreed upon, and ALBAN HOLTZ and <br />BERNADINE HOLTZ have presented to the City their deed dated October 30, <br />1964, conveying two parcels of real property to the City as a portion <br />of said exchange; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of California has transferred to the City <br />the portion of the present ramp right of way which will not be used <br />in the new alignment to be exchanged for necessary ramp right of way. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions with Orange County Title <br />Company, Order No. 869557-hrb; that the City of Santa Aha accepts the <br />deed referred to in the first paragraph hereof; that Carl J. Thornton, <br />the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of <br />Acceptance on said deed; and that the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby directed to execute two grant deeds for and on <br />behalf of the City of Santa Ana granting to ALBAN HOLTZ and BERNADINE <br />HOLTZ the unnecessary portion of the existing freeway ramp and a <br />small irregular shaped piece of property bounded southwesterly by the <br />present ramp, northerly by the new realigned freeway r~p, and <br />easterly by the alley Which runs northerly from Seventeenth Street <br />west of Poinsettia Street, and to deliver the same through said <br />Escrow No. 869557-hrb as a part of this property exchange. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED ~y the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
