RESOLUTION 64-181 EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE <br />HOLDING OF THE WORLD'S FAIR IN ORANGE COUNTY, <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, several sites in the County of Orange have been <br />considered as possibilities for the holding of a World's Fair; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a California World's Fair held in Orange County <br />would attract both national and international attention to this <br />fastest growing area in the State of California, would draw hundreds <br />of thousands of people to this County, would stimulate business <br />activity throughout the County, and would contribute to the <br />continued growth of the County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Orange County possesses several possible sites <br />a World's Fair and possesses all of the facilities and energy <br />necessary to hold such a World's Fair. <br /> <br />for <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana endorses the idea of holding a California World's <br />Fair in the County of Orange, California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
