assessing of the property of said city, belonging <br /> <br /> to the office of the city Assessor shall be transferred <br /> <br /> to and performed by the Clerk of said City of Santa <br /> Aua; and all duties, other than the collecting of <br /> taxes, belonging to the office of City Tax Collector <br /> ~all be transferred to and be perforn~ed by the <br /> City Marshal of said city, and thereafter the office <br /> of City Assessor and City Tax Collector may be by <br /> ordinance abolished. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Whenover any real property situate <br /> <br /> in the city of Santa Aha after it has availed itself <br /> of the provisions of this act has been sold for <br /> taxes and has been redeemed, the money paid for such <br /> reden~tion shall be apportioned by the County Treasurer <br /> to said city of Santa Ana in the proportion which the <br /> tax due to said city bears to the total tax for which <br /> such real property was sold. <br /> <br /> Section 9. Ordinance No. 419 of the City of Santa <br />Ana entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the assessn~ent <br />of property and for the levy and collection of taxes <br />in, by and for the use of the city of Sant~ Aha for <br />n~unicipal purposes", and all ordinances or parts of <br />ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby <br />repealed, provided however, that this ordinance shall <br />not a~fect the collection and sale of property for <br />taxes for the fiscal year 1914-15. <br /> <br /> Section 10.
