RESOLUTION 64-194 ACCEPTING INDENTURE WHEREIN <br />PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY GRANTS A <br />DRAINAGE DITCH EASEMENT ALONG THE NORTH SIDE <br />OF ITS RIGHT OF WAY BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND <br />CYPRESS AVENUE TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN <br />CONSIDERATION OF $2,280.00 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after negotiation, agreement has been reached <br />between the parties hereto for the conveyance of a drainage <br />easement in consideration of cash payment by the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby accepts the grant of easement contained in that certain <br />Indenture dated March 26, 1964, between the PACIFIC ELECTRIC <br />RAILWAY COMPANY and the CITY OF SANTA ANA granting to the City a <br />drainage ditch easement along the northerly side of the Railway <br />Company's property running northeasterly from Main Street to a <br />point which would lie at the southerly extension of the easterly <br />right of way line of Cypress Avenue, said easement being 10 feet <br />wide, in consideration of $2,280.00, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's <br />designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance <br />on said instrument. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby autherized to execute said Indenture for and on <br />behalf of the City of Santa Ana and to record the same after the <br />consideration herein provided for has been paid to the PACIFIC <br />ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY and a fully executed counterpart of said <br />Indenture has been delivered to said RAILWAY COMPANY. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of December, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C~RK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
