RESOLUTION 64-202 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANADECLARING WITHDRAWAL OF <br />TERRITORY FROM THE TUSTIN LIGHTING DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the territory herein described was annexed <br />to the City of Santa Ana, California, by Ordinance NS-663, adopted <br />July 1, 1963, under the name of "EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 3", and <br />said property has for sixteen (16) months been within the limits of <br />the City of Santa Aha and still remains within the Tustin Lighting <br />District and is now subject to double taxation for the purpose of <br />receiving street lighting service and should be removed from said <br />District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 24, 1964, a map and description of said <br />territory was submitted to the Orange County Boundary Commission, <br />which Commission regularly reported thereon on December 7, 1964, and <br />the City of Santa Ana has considered the Commission's recommendations <br />and has modified the proposal to conform thereto in accordance with <br />Government Code §58858. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all of that territory <br />in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described in the description attached hereto entitled "Withdrawal <br />From Tustin Lighting District - EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 3", and <br />by reference made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby withdrawn <br />from the Tustin Lighting District, and the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana hereby declares the withdrawal of said territory from <br />said District. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of December, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLW.
