That the rate of taxation for municipal <br />purposes and to pay the bonded indebtedness and interest of the <br />City of Santa Ana, for the current yea~ 1916-17, is hereby fixed <br />at 1~O cents on the taxable property of said City, and said <br />amount of $95, O10.44 in the aggregate and rate sum of 1.40 cents <br />on each $100 of the taxable property of said City is hereby <br />levied upon all the taxable property, as ascertained by the County <br />Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisorsof Orange County, <br />California, ar, d which said rate so fixed shall be apportioned <br />among the various departments of said City and placed in special <br />funds to pay the current expenses, bonded indebtedness, interest <br />and other indebtedness of said City falling due for the current <br />fiscal year of 1916-17 to-wit: <br /> <br /> For the General Fund 60 cents on each $100 of the tax- <br />able property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Street Fund 27 cents on each $100 of the tax- <br />able property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Library Fund 9 cents on each $100 of the tax- <br />able property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Fire Fund 8 cents on each $100 of the taxable <br />property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Sewer Bonded Indebtedness Fund 5 cents on each <br />$100 of the taxable property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Water Works Bonded Indebtedness Fund 19 cents <br />on each $100 .00 of the taxable property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the City Hall Bonded Indebtedness Fund 2 cents <br /> <br />on each $100.00 of the taxable property of said City. <br /> <br /> For the Fire Dept.Bonded Indebtedness Fund 2 cents on <br />each $100.00 of the taxable property of said City. <br /> <br /> For music, 1 cent on each $100.00 of the taxable proper- <br />ty of said City. <br /> <br /> For parks, i cent on each $100.00 of the taxable proper- <br />ty of said City. <br /> <br /> For advertising, 1 cent on each $100.00 of the taxable <br />property of said City. <br /> <br /> For Sewer Fund, 5 cents on each $100.00 of the taxable <br />property of said City. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to <br />submit a certified copy of this Ordinance to the County Auditor <br />of Orange County,Cal. on or before the last Tuesday in August, <br />1~16. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance <br /> <br />to be published once in the "Santa Ana Daily Register" a news- <br />paper printed and published and generally circulated in the City <br />of Santa Aua, and thereupon and thereafter this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in force. <br /> <br /> The above Ordinance passed and adopted this 2gth day <br /> <br /> <br />
