RESOLUTION 65-17 AUTHORIZING EXEC~fION OF REAL
<br />PROPERTY CONTRACTS AND ACCEPTING GRANT DEEDS
<br />FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR CIVIC CENTER
<br />PROJECT NO. G.A. 401
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Real Property Services of the
<br />County of Orange, acting for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />has negotiated and conditionally delivered to the City Real Property
<br />Contracts and Deeds executed by grantors, as hereinbelow set out,
<br />each conveying a parcel of real property for Civic Center Project
<br />No. G.A. 401; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ELIOZ GALICIA and ESTHER GALICIA have executed a
<br />deed dated January 7, 1965, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real
<br />property located on the north side of West Sixth Street, between
<br />Shelton and Flower Streets, and designated as Parcel No. G.A. 401-172,
<br />for a consideration of $14,000.00; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ADA R. PAD~ has executed a deed dated January 5, 1965,
<br />conveying to the City of Santa Ana real property located on the north
<br />side of %~est Sixth Street, between Shelton and Flower Streets, and
<br />designated as Parcel No. G.A. 401-175, for a consideration of
<br />$12,000.00; and
<br />
<br /> W}~REAS, BERTHA E. WINE has executed a deed dated January 11,
<br />1955, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real property located on the
<br />north side of West Sixth Street, between Shelton and Flower Streets,
<br />and designated as Parcel Mo. G.A. 401-19~, for a consideration of
<br />$9,000.00; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, P.N. i~ILA~ and DOLORES MILAN have executed a deed
<br />dated January 4, 19:35, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real property
<br />located on the north side of West Sixth Street, between Shelton and
<br />Flower Streets, and designated as Parcel No. G.A. 401-199, for a
<br />consideration of $11,500.00; and
<br />
<br /> ~EREAS, ADOLPH JOSEPH NIEBLAS and VIVIAN B. NIEBLAS have
<br />executed a deed dated January 4, 19~5, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana real property located on the north side of West Sixth Street,
<br />between Shelton and Flower Streets, and designated as Parcel No.
<br />G.A. 401-201, for a consideration of $15,000.00; and
<br />
<br /> ~4EREAS, '£HE~;~ ANDERSON and CLARENCE ANDERSON have executed
<br />a deed dated January 9, 1965, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real
<br />property located on the north side of West Sixth Street, between
<br />Shelton and Flower Streets, and designated as Parcel No. G.A. 401-200,
<br />for a consideration of $11,500.00;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'l~at the I4ayor and the Clerk
<br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
<br />Real Property Contracts for the City; that the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds, and Carl J. ~ornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance thereon.

<br /> 'I~e Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue his
<br />warrants in the amounts specified above to the grantors or their
<br />assigns and to deliver each warrant as directed by said Department
<br />of Real Property Services to the grantor or his assigns when the City
<br />has received title to the parcel of real property conveyed by said
<br />grantor as hereinabove set out.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of February, 1965.
