RESOLUTION 65-32 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY'
<br />IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FRED RUSSELL LEWIS has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated January 29, 1965, conveying an easement for water main purposes
<br />on the north side of First Street, 488 feet west of Tustin Avenue;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RICHARD E. BRAUER, BEVERLY C. BRAUER, and WILLIAM L.
<br />MAINS have delivered to the City a deed dated December 8, 1964,
<br />conveying easements for street purposes on the south side of Edinger
<br />Avenue, west of Spruce Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RICHARD E. BRAUER, BEVERLY C. BRAUER, and WILLI~ L.
<br />MAINS have delivered to the City a deed dated December 8, 1964,
<br />conveying easements for street purposes for Stanford Street, west of
<br />Spruce Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ST. ALBANS INVEST~ENT CO., a partnership, has
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated February 3, 1965, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes at the southwest corner of Halesworth
<br />Street and Broadway and an easement for alley purposes south from
<br />Halesworth Street, west of Broadway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN A. PATTERSON and HELEN L. PATTERSON have
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated February 2, 1965, conveying a
<br />spandrel shaped parcel of land at the southwest corner of Ross and
<br />Lime Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, UNITED STATES RUBBER COMPANY, a New Jersey corporation,
<br />has delivered to the City a deed dated February 4, 1965, conveying
<br />an easenient for street purposes on the north side of Dyer Road,
<br />between Orange Avenue and Halladay Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COi4PLEX, a California corporation,
<br />has delivered to the City a Grant of Easement dated January 28, 1965,
<br />granting a non-exclusive easement for the construction, operation,
<br />and maintenance of a sewer and appurtenances on the west side of
<br />Redhill Avenue, 1320 feet south of Warner Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the STATE OF CALIFORNIA has delivered to the City an
<br />Agreement and Grant of Easement dated January 20, 1965, which said
<br />Agreement has been entered into by the City, and the City now desires
<br />to accept said Grant of Easement for street purposes on the south
<br />side of First Street, west of McClay Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds and grants of easement are without
<br />cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and grants of easement, and Carl J. Thornton, the
<br />City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
<br />Acceptance on said documents.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.
