232 <br /> <br /> said interest coupons shall be numbered consecutively. <br /> Section 15. The bonds shall be signed by the President <br /> of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, also signed by <br /> the Treesurer thereof, and counter-signed by the Clerk. Ths <br /> interest coupons of said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer: <br /> <br /> Section 16. Commencing on the lat day of <br /> <br /> two of said 70 bonds, representing $3g,500.OO being Bonds <br /> the denomination of $1,000 and Bond No.2 in the denomination of <br /> $100.00, shall be paid, and annually thereafter on the 1st day of <br /> Nay two additional of said ?0 bonds in successive numerical order <br /> and of like denomination shall be paid, making an~ annua?~payment <br /> of $1100.00 on the principal of said indebtedness, the same being <br /> not less than one-fortieth part of the amount of such principal <br /> of the indebtedness. <br /> <br /> Commencing on the let day of May,1919, one of said 35 <br />bonds, representing $7,700.00 being Bond No.l,in the denomination <br />of $220.OO, shall be paid, and annually thereafter on the 1st day <br />of May one additional of said 35 bonds in successive numerical order <br />and of like denomination shall be paid, making an annual payment of <br />$220.00 on the principal of said indebtedness, the same being not <br />less than one-fortieth part of the amount of such principal of the <br />indebtedness. <br /> <br /> The interest on said bonds shal~ be paid as follows: <br />the first installment on November lst,191g, and semi-annually <br />thereafter on the 1st day of May and the let day of November in <br />each year until all of said~bonds, both principal and interest, <br />shall have been well and truly paid in gold coin of the United <br />States. <br /> <br /> Both the principal and interest of said bonds shall <br />be paid at the office of the Treasurer of the city of Santa Ana <br /> <br />in said City, County of Orange, <br /> <br /> Section 17. Any <br />it is proposed hereby to incur, <br />ness heretofore incurred by the <br /> <br />State of California. <br /> <br />or all of the indebtedness which <br />together with al2 other indebted- <br />city of Santa Aha, will not in the <br /> <br /> aggregate exceed fifteen per centum of the assessed value of all <br /> the real and personal property of the city of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> Section 18. This Ordinance shall be published <br />once a day for at least seven days in the Santa Ana Daily Evening <br />Register, a newspaper published in the city of Santa Aha at least <br />si× days a we~k and this Ordinance and the publication thereof aa <br />provided for in this section shall constitute a notice of said <br />Special Election and no other notice of said special election need <br /> <br />be given. <br /> Section 19. This Ordinance, being an ordinance <br /> <br />calling and otherwise providing for and relating to an election. <br />the same shall go into effect and be in force from and after its <br />final passage. <br /> <br /> The foregoing Ordinance No.630 was passed at an <br />adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the city of <br />Santa Ana, as the legislative branch thereof, held on the llthday <br />of March, 1918, by the vote of more than two-thirds of all its <br /> <br /> <br />
