Ordinance Nc.g30. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance of the City of SantaAna, a municipal <br />corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Califor- <br />nia, ordering the submission to the qualified voters of the <br />city of Santa Ana t~e proposition of incurring a bonded debt <br />for the purpose of the acquisition and construction in the City <br />of Santa Aha of certain municipal improvements, as est forth in <br />Resolution No.594 of said city, consisting of the construction <br />of two bridges erected over and extending across that certain <br />water course existing in the city of Santa Ana known as,named <br />and called Santiago Creek; <br /> <br /> Calling a special election for that purpose, recit- <br />ing the objects and purposes for which the indebtedness is pro- <br />posed to be incurred,.the estimated cost of the proposed public <br />improvements, the amount of the principal of the indebtedness <br />to be incurred therefor, and the rate of interest to be paid on <br />ssid indebtedness, fixing the date on which such special election <br />will be held, the manner of holding such election and the voting <br />for or against the incurring of such indebtedness and providing <br />that in all particulars not recited in this Ordinance such elec- <br />tion shall be held as provided by law for holding municipal elec- <br />tions in the city of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 28th day of January,1918, at <br /> <br />meeting of the legislative branch of the city of Santa Ana, being <br />the Board of Trustees of said city, by a vote or more than two- <br />thirds of all the members of said Board of Trustees, there was <br />passed, ~dopted and approved Resolution No.594, of said city, <br />being a Resolution determining and declaring that the public <br />interest and also the public necessity demands the acquisition <br />and construction of certain municipal improvements in the city <br />of Santa'Ana, to-wit: the acquisition and construction of two <br />bridges, one of said bridges to be constructed and located at <br />the place where that certain water course, to-wit:Santis~o Creek, <br />intersects North Main Street, a public street in ~he city of <br />Santa Aha, and the other of said bridges to be constructed and <br />located at the place where the said water course intersects North <br />Flower street, also a public street in the city of Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> The ~aid municipal improvements being necessary <br /> <br />and convenient in order to carry out the objects, purposes and <br />powers of the city of Santa Ana, the cost of which will be too <br />greatto be paid out of the ordinary annual in~-~d revenue of <br />the city of Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> Now therefore, at this, a subsequent adjourned <br />regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha <br />after the passage, adoption and approval of said Resolution No.594i <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha <br /> <br />do ordain as follows:- <br /> Section 1. It having been heretofore determined <br /> and declared by a resolution No.594 of the city of Santa Ana, <br /> adopted and approved by the vote of more than two-thirds of all <br /> the members of the legislative branch of said city, to-wit: the <br /> Board of Trustees thereof, that the public interest and also the <br /> public necessity demands the acquisition and construction in the <br /> city of Santa Ana of certain municipal improvements,to-wit:- <br /> <br />(a) The acquisition and construction of a bridge composed <br />of reenforced concrete erected over and extending across that certain <br /> <br /> <br />
