ORDINANCE NO. 6~1. An Ordinance of the City of S~nta And, Cal. Amending sections No.3 and 4 cf Ordinance No.3£, entitled: "An Ordinance defining nuisances and providing for the punishment and for the removal and abatement of the same. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ams,Cal. do ordain as follows:- Sections Nos.3 and 4 of Ordinance No.32 are hereby amende= to read a.s follows:- Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any person who keeps or ha~ upon premises owned or occupied by him cr upon any street or alley within the limits of the City of Santa And any horse, mule, cow, or other meat cattle, goat or other domestlc animal, to so keep or have such animal or animals wlthin 50 feet of any family residence that by accummu- lation of manure or other offensive matter or by their noise or other act or thing, they shall be offensive to or shall annoy any person or persons residing in the neighborhood or being upon any street or alley where they are kept or had so as to render life uncomfortable. Section 4. It shall be unlawful for auy person to keep or maintain any hens, ducks, geese or other domestic fowls, or rabbits or any kind of tame animals within the limits of the City of Santa And within twenty-five (~9) feet of any family residence or cause or permit them to go or be at large, and to go or be upon the premises owned or occupied by any other person without such other person!s consent, or to so keep or have any such fowls or animals ~o as to be offensive to or to annoy any person or persons residing in the neighborhood where they are kept or had so as to render life uncomfortable The above Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of Ih= City of Santa And, by the following vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,Chapmsn, Dale, Greenleaf.
