RESOLUTION 65-58 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING CO~IISSION AND DENYING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 2090 FILED BY ALLISON HONER CO. WHEREAS, after hearing on notice the Planning Commission granted a variance on Variance Application No. 2090, filed by ALLISON HONER CO., to permit the use of R-1 property in the vicinity of 1000 West Eighteenth Street, Santa Ana, as an off- street parking lot, subject to certain conditions; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 156 was duly filed by DAVID N. HARTMAN, FRANCIS M. KINNEY, and BILL E. PERRY appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to grant said Variance and requesting a hearing before the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has determined that said Variance Application does not show sufficient grounds to meet the statute or ordinance requirements for the granting of a variance; that the decision of the Planning Commission should be overruled; and that said Variance should be denied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and denies a variance on Variance Application No. 2090.
