RESOLUTION 65-66 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE PACIFIC COAST LATIN ~iERICAN CONFERENCE OF THE
<br />FREE METHODIST CHURCH OF NORTH A~]ERICA, who acquired title as The
<br />Mexican Conference of the Free Methodist Church of North America,
<br />has delivered to the City a deed dated February 24, 1965, conveying
<br />an easement for street purposes on the south side of Myrtle Street
<br />between Spruce Street and Forest Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, W. F. CRODDY and MAURINE M. CRODDY have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated April 6, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the north side of Talbert Avenue, west of Harbor Boulevard;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN A WHITAKER has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated April 9, 1965, conveying an easement for alley purposes on the
<br />north side of Lime Street, 96 feet east of Parton Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ~IET C. ROGERS and JUNA ROGERS have delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated Aprill4, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes and two spandrel shaped parcels of land on the north side
<br />of Santa Clara Avenue between Main Street and Broadway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, an Illinois corporation, has
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated April 12, 1965, conveying an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes on the south side of Alton Street, Kilson
<br />Drive to Halladay Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DONALD H. FRANKLIN and JOAN R. FRANKLIN have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated April 7, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street and public utility purposes on Sixteenth Street, west of Daisy
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALICE A. WEYANT has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />April 7, 1965, conveying an easement for street and public utility
<br />purposes on Sixteenth Street, west of Daisy Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of April, 1965.
