RESOLUTION 65-73 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FRANKLIN F. ROBEL and JANE ROBEL have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated April 14, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Hazard Avenue, 1056.63 feet
<br />west of Harbor Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DWIGHT CLARE SCHROEDER, IRIS SCHROEDER, LOWELL K.
<br />SCHROEDER and BETTY GRAY SCHROEDER have delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated April 15, 1965, conveying easements for street purposes at
<br />the northeast corner of Glassell Street and Santa Clara Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CAL ENTERPRISES, a partnership, has delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated April 26, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the east side of Main Street approximately 424 feet south
<br />of the center line of Central Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT has delivered to
<br />the City two deeds dated April 14, 1965, conveying easements for
<br />street purposes for Adams Street, east of Raitt Street, and for the
<br />north side of Segerstrom Avenue and the east side of Raitt Street;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES C. CAMARATA has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated April 5, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />Washington Place, east of Fuller Street; said easement is granted
<br />subject to a lease originally made to James V. Scobie dated April 7,
<br />1959, as amended February 3, 1964; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES C. CAMARATA has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated April 5, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />Washington Place, east of Fuller Street; and DAVID M. ELWELL and
<br />VIRGINIA L. ELWELL have delivered to the City a quitclaim deed dated
<br />May'3 , 1965, quitclaiming their interests to said property under
<br />a lease dated December 29, 1961, as amended, and to an option therein
<br />contained; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, STANLEY H. DICKEN, ELLA FLORENCE DICKEN, CALWIN W.
<br />CLARK and LAURETTA S. CLARK have delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />March 18, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />Washington Place, east of Fuller Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LLOYD A. MANNES has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated April 14, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />Washington Place, east of Fuller Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of May, 1965.
