distance of 152.5 feet to the nlace of beginning. <br /> A map, approved by the Board of Trustees of the city <br />of Santa Ana, as the city council thereof, on the 1st day <br />of November, 1922, by Hesolution No. 867, indicating by a <br />boundary line shown on said map in green tint, the extent <br />of the territory to be included in said assessment district, <br />is hereby specifically referred to. <br /> It is ordered that said map be filed in the office of <br />the Oity Engineer of the city of Santa Aha, aud be on file <br />therein, before the Superintendent of Streets of Santa Ana <br />sh~ll proceed with the publication and posting of the notic~ <br />of public work, as hereinafter directed, and said map shall <br />govern for all details as to the extent of the said assess- <br />~ent district. <br /> Section 4. The Street Superintendent shall cause to be <br />consplouously posted along all streets and parts of streets, <br />other public places, and rights of way, and along and upon <br />any private unimproved property which is to be taken in the <br />extension and opening as extended of McClay Street, at not <br />more than 300 feet in distance apart, but not less than <br />three in all, notices of the passage of this Ordlnance~ each <br />said notice shall be headed - NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK - - <br />in letters not less than one inch in length and shall be in <br />leguble characters, and state the fact and date of the <br />passage of this Ordinance, and briefly describe the improve- <br />ment proposed, and refer to this Ordinance of Intention for <br />a description of the assessment district, and for further <br />particulars. He shall also cause a notice similar in sub- <br />stance to be published by two insertions in SANTA ANA DAI~Y <br />EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated <br />in the city of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that <br />purpose. Abe notices shall be in the form arid contain the <br />matters and be posted and p~blished as required and provided <br />by law. <br /> Aha °lerk of the city of Santa Aha shall, immediately <br />upon the publication of the Notice reqnired by this section, <br />mail, postage prepaid, to each property owner in the assess- <br />ment district, at his last known address as the same <br />appears upon the tax rolls of the city of Santa Ana, and <br />where no address so appears then to the general delivery <br />at Santa Aha, California, a oost~l card Containing a notice <br />which shalt be substant!aIly in the following form: <br /> <br /> "You arehereby notified that on ~ <br /> t.~e 2~th day of <br /> <br />~ovember, 1922, the legislative body of t~e city of Santa <br /> <br />Aha, California, by virtue of the otreet Opening Act of <br /> <br />190~, passed an Ordinance of Intention No. ~99 for the <br /> <br />extension and opening as extended of McClay Street between <br /> <br /> <br />
