Phillips <br />Clerk Edna Stevenson <br /> <br /> Section <br /> <br /> The Boards of Election hereinbefore appointed shall in <br /> <br />the Special Election Precinct for which they are appointed hold, <br />conduct, and make returns of :sa. id special election, and each member <br />of the Boards o£ Election hereinbefore appointed shall, upon pre- <br />sentation of ~ proper demand ag~ainst the city of Santa ina, receive <br />as compensation for his or her services as an election officer the <br />su~ of ~6.00. <br /> <br /> Section 13. <br /> <br /> The polls at the ~olling places hereinbefore designated <br /> <br />and established in said Special Election Precincts Nos. 1-2-3-4-5- <br />6-7-8-9 must be opened at Six o'clock A. I~. o~ the clay of election <br />and must be kept open until seven o'o!ock P. Li. of the sane day, <br />when the polls shall be closed, except as provided for in Sec.ll6~ <br /> <br />of the Political Code of the State of California. <br /> Section <br /> <br /> In all particulars not recited in this 0rdinence said <br />special election shall be held and conducted as provided by law <br /> <br />for holding municipal elections in the city of Santa Aha'. <br /> Section 15. <br /> <br /> Any qualified voter may at said specisd election vote <br /> <br />in favor of any proposition submitted by stamping a cross (x) <br />on his or her ballot in the voting square at the right of the <br />word "YES" following the proposition voted upon; and any <br />qualified voter mmy at said special election vote against any <br />proposition submitted by stamping a cross (x) on his or her <br />ballot in the voting square at the right of the word "NO" follow- <br /> <br />ing the proposition voted upon. <br /> Section 16. <br /> <br /> If any voter at said special election shall have stamped <br /> <br />a cross (x) in the voting square at the right of the word "YES" <br />following any proposition voted upon his or her ballot shall be <br />counted in favor of the issuance of the bonds mentioned in that <br />proposition, and if he or she shall h ave stsl~ped a cross (x) <br />in the voting square at the right of tls word "i~.0" following any <br />proposition voted upon his or her ballot shall be counted against <br /> <br />the issuance of the bonds ~.entioned in that proposition. <br /> Section 17. <br /> <br /> If at said special election two-thirds or more of all <br /> <br />the voters voting thereat shall have voted in favor of any one or <br /> <br /> <br />
