The operation of automobile busses under this franchise shall be commenced in good faith within not more than four months from the date of the passage of this ordinance and if not so cormmenced the franchise herein granted shall be declare5 forfeited. Section 13. This franchise is granted upon the express condition that if the grantee, its successors or assigns, shall neglect, fail or refuee to promptly and faithfully comply with all of the tezTas, provisions, conditions, and requirements of this Ordinance granting the franchise, or such ordinance or ordi- nances, orders, rules, and regulations as may be hereafter passed or adopted by the city of Santa Aha concerning the use ~nd operation of this franchise, then the franchise shall be for- feited, and all persons wholly and immediately excluded from the use, occupation and enjoyment thereof. Section .~4. This Ordinance must be signed by the President of the Board of Trustees and attested by the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, and published three (3) times in a news- paper of general circulation published in such city. The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 6V8 was passed at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha held on the 3rd day of April, 1922, by the following vote:- Ayes: Trustees J. ~. Tubbs, W. A. Greenleaf, No~s: Trustees None. Absent: Trustees None. C. H. Chapman, H. H. Dale John G. ~mtchell.
