RESOLUTION 65-83 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A <br />QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE SUM OF $1,050.00 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the realignment of Edinger Avenue the <br />City is the owner of certain property located north of Edinger Avenue, <br />west of Sycamore Street, in the City of Santa Ana, and a portion of <br />said property has been declared surplus and of no further use except <br />to the adjacent landowners, LAWRENCE and BEP. NICE SPLINTER, who have <br />agreed to purchase the same for a cash consideration of $1,050.00 <br />through Escrow No. 52869-C with Security Title Insurance Company, <br />Santa Aha, California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed quitclsiming to LAWRENCE SPLINTER and BERNICE SPLINTER the <br />City's interest in and to the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />That portion of Lot 13 of Tract 1265, in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book <br />40, Page 48, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County <br />Recorder of said County, described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northerly 14.05 feet of said Lot 13. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within a spandrel shaped <br />parcel of land bounded on the East by the East line of Lot 14 of <br />said Tract 1265, bounded on the south by a line which is parallel <br />with and 14.05 feet, Southerly measured at right angles fr~u the <br />North line of said Lot 13, and bounded Northwesterly by the arc <br />of a curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet <br />and tangent to said South and East boundaries. <br /> <br />RESERVING T~EREFROM all vehicular access rights to Edinger Avenue <br />from the described property. <br /> <br />and deliver the same into said Escrow No. 52869-C. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of May, 1965. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />~ ~ M~¥OR ! <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
